Vended's Simon Crahan: 'My dad told me, 'I would not put you on a tour if you weren't good''

The band Vended features Griffin Taylor and Simon Crahan, the sons of Slipknot's Corey Taylor and M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan, respectively. If you're about to call them the metal version of nepo babies, though, Vended has a response.

"My dad told me, 'I would not put you on a tour if you weren't good,'" the younger Crahan tells Metal Hammer.

"We wouldn't be playing festivals the way we do if we weren't good," Simon continues. "We're a good band. We play good music. That's why we're here. We've discovered that talent ourselves. And everyone thinks it's just been handed to us."

Vended released their self-titled debut album in September. In 2025, they'll be playing Slipknot's Knotfest Australia, and will be touring the U.S. alongside While She Sleeps.
