Three Days Grace hits #1 on 'Billboard' Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with 'Mayday'

RCA Records

Three Days Grace has flown to #1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their new single, "Mayday."

Released in November, "Mayday" marked the first release from the "Just Like You" rockers since founding frontman Adam Gontier rejoined the band after an 11-year absence. Three Days Grace now consists of two vocalists: Gontier and Matt Walst, who's fronted the group since Gontier's departure in 2013.

"Mayday" gives 3DG a total of 18 #1 hits on Mainstream Rock Airplay, the second-most since the chart began in 1981. Shinedown has the most, with 19.

Three Days Grace will hit the road in February as part of Disturbed's 25th anniversary The Sickness tour.
