Gerard Way is rolling for initiative.

The My Chemical Romance frontman and The Umbrella Academy comic creator is part of the voice-over cast for an upcoming pinball game inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons.

Others contributing their pipes include filmmaker and noted My Chem fan Kevin Smith and Brendon Small of Metalocalypse.

The D&D pinball game was created by the company Stern Pinball and includes many references to the famed tabletop RPG.

Stern shares in an Instagram post, "In celebration of 50 years of the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game, Stern Pinball players worldwide will be brought on an epic and thrilling journey as they adventure into the forgotten realms, featuring iconic enemies including a red dragon, gelatinous cube, mimic, Sammaster the lich, Xanathar the beholder, an owlbear, and locations including those in Faerun such as Arabel and Westgate."

Stern has previously released pinball games inspired by bands including Foo Fighters and Metallica.

Way, meanwhile, is also preparing for MCR's summer stadium tour, during which they'll be performing their 2006 album The Black Parade in full.
