For the first time in his life, Black Veil Brides frontman -- and Cincinnati Bengals super-fan -- Andy Biersack will watch his hometown team in the Super Bowl.

"Since I was a little boy, I've spent my whole life watching this team," Biersack tells ABC Audio. "I never in a million years imagined that I would get to see them in the Super Bowl."

Historically, the Bengals are not one of the NFL's most successful teams. They've never won a Super Bowl in their over 50-year history, and haven't even been in the big game since the 1988 season. In Biersack's lifetime, the Bengals have won just one playoff game prior to this season's run.

"[Playing in the Super Bowl] just seemed like something that happened to other teams and other franchises, not ours," Biersack says. "I'm still pinching myself, I really can't believe it."

Not only are the Bengals finally back competing for the Lombardi Trophy, but the game will be held in Biersack's current hometown of Los Angeles. Naturally, Biersack's first thought was to find a way to attend in person, but then he got a FaceTime call with his family back in Cincinnati.

"They're all together in this spot that I spent my entire childhood watching this team lose in," Biersack shares. "We would all get together every Sunday and watch the game, horrible season after horrible season."

"It just struck me," he continues. "As fun as it would be to go to the game in LA and be at the Super Bowl...the only place I want to be is in that living room with my parents and my family sharing this moment."

The Bengals will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, airing Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
