VELVET REVOLVER

Velvet Revolver is hard at work finding a new lead singer to replace original frontman Scott Weiland. Though according to management, the band is still auditioning singers, the front runner seems to be former Spacehog frontman Royston Langdon. According to an insider, Langdon and Revolver have had several successful jam sessions, got along great, and it's a refreshing change for the band. Check out this video of Langdon and Slash performing "It’s So Easy".

JACK WHITE

Raconteurs/White Stripes singer Jack White is collaborating with R&B singer Alicia Keys. The two are paired together to record the theme song to the next installment in the James Bond series, titled "Quantum of Solace". White wrote, produced, and layed down the drum tracks to the song "Another Way To Die". The original motion picture soundtrack for the film is scheduled to hit stores October 28th and the film should hit your local cinema November 7th. For you Raconteur fans, the group has launched a new section of their website loaded with photos and live concert footage.
