PEARL JAM

Pearl Jams former record label, Epic Records, plans to release a greatest hits collection this fall, though no details have been issued.

In the bands newsletter, the band says they may perform a few acoustic shows later this year and "may" start recording a new studio album at the end of the year. www.pearljam.com

MUDVAYNE

Mudvayne have finished writing songs for their next album and will convene in the recording studio June 12th to start recording tracks. The band has hired producer Dave Fortman to turn the knobs and the completed album is due this fall. www.mudvayne.com

KORN

Korn lyricist Jonathan Davis says the song "Everything I've Known" was inspired by his relationship problems with his wife.

DAVIS: "'Everything That I've Known' is basically about me and my girl going through a hard time. You know, when you get into a relationship there's like the honeymoon period... I've always said. And it's so intense and it's so beautiful, and it's great... but then that goes away and then you're just living... and you start settling in and you're just like friends and... and you have sex like once a week and it just... you settle in."

Korn will return to San Antonio for Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour on Saturday, August 21st at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. You can hear "Everything I've Known" on KISS.
