VELVET REVOLVER

Velvet Revolver was recently asked by TV Producer Mark Burnett to take part in the next season of the reality show Rock Star. According to drummer Matt Sorum, "No disrespect to him, but it just didn't feel right for what we want to do. As many years as we've tried to keep our integrity intact, we felt that wasn't the right forum for us to do it, so we got some ideas and we should have that news in a couple weeks."

3 DOORS DOWN

If you’re feeling down, you might want to pick up 3 Doors Down latest album. According to frontman Brad Arnold, their self-titled album was written more optimistically than previous albums. Arnold says, "I've always wanted people to take something positive from our music and this record is definitely a lot lighter, but not like just kooky lighter. It's a lot more looking into the bright side of things." You can currently hear "It’s Not My Time" on KISS. In other 3 Doors Down news, the band recently recorded a live performance for AOL Sessions.
