VELVET REVOLVER

Despite comments made by Velvet Revolver vocalist Scott Weiland, guitarist Slash says Velvet Revolver will continue. Weiland recently announced that Velvet Revolver's current European tour will be their last, alluding to the demise of the band. Weiland has recently reunited with his previous band Stone Temple Pilots, further fueling speculation that Velvet Revolver's time is almost up. However, in a recent interview, Slash not only says that their current tour will not be the last for VR, but he also dismissed rumors that the band will be opening up for Led Zeppelin during their reunion tour. According to the axe-man, "We've got another record to do and we're not even thinking about that."

SERJ TANKIAN

System of a Down singer Serj Tankian has made efforts to be greener when it comes to touring, but Tankian has now found a way to make all musical acts friendlier to the environment.

"I've had an idea for a long time, which might sound a little crazy, but I really want to look into holographic touring. I think we could reduce our need to travel if we could project ourselves into meetings and concerts. We have the technology, and we're not using it right now."
