THEORY OF A DEADMAN

Theory of a Deadman are getting ready to release their third studio album "Scars & Souvenirs". Singer Tyler Connolly says he encouraged both himself and his bandmates to make a great album by reminding them that there are twenty other bands out there behind them; just waiting to take their place. Theory laid down twelve tracks for the new album this past February and will be releasing it April 1st.

INCUBUS

Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd says he loved Radiohead's idea of a "name your price" policy for their latest effort "In Rainbows". For those not familiar with the marketing strategy, Radiohead released their "In Rainbows" album as a download, which fans were able to purchase for whatever price they wanted to pay for it. An estimated 40% of downloaders paid nothing. The average price paid from those who actually shelled out money was $6. Though the money figures weren't too impressive, the Incubus leader likes the "pay what you wish" idea so much that he wants to implement it on the next Incubus album. In Boyd's ideal world, the band would give their albums away and if fans really liked them, they could buy them. Incubus just began work on the follow-up to 2006's "Light Grenades".
