MARILYN MANSON VIDEO GAME

Marilyn Manson lent his voice to the character Edgar in the forthcoming video game "Area 51". Manson explains why he did the project.

MANSON: "It seemed like an interesting character because it's this alien that hates mankind because they kind of made him what he is and I thought there was an obvious correlation between me and that character."

"Area 51" also features voice work by actor David Duchovny. Manson and Duchovny interview one another in the latest issue of "Playstation" magazine.

BUCKCHERRY

Buckcherry is the band that brought us the song "Lit Up" and according to various reports, the band has reformed 3 years after they broke-up. Singer Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson are writing and recording with a new drummer, bass player and guitarist in a Los Angeles studio.

NICKELBACK

Nickelback and drummer Ryan Vikedal have parted ways, due to musical differences. In a statement released to the press, Nickelback says they do not have a replacement for Vikedal.

However, 3 Doors Down drummer Daniel Adair has posted a message online stating he has been asked to join Nickelback and will remain with 3 Doors Down for another 2 weeks.

Adair is a native of Vancouver, just like the members of Nickelback.

A PERFECT CIRCLE VIDEO

A Perfect Circle have posted the video for "Passive", which is featured in the new movie "Constantine". The song can be found on "Emotive".

MOTLEY CRUE Q&A

RollingStone.com has posted a Q&A with Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx about the bands forthcoming reunion tour.

You mention in Motley Crue's bio The Dirt that curly-haired guys can't rock. What about Robert Plant?

You know, I'm not the biggest fan. Why aren't Queen and AC/DC thought of on the level of Zeppelin? Zeppelin were derived from the blues and really didn't go much farther. AC/DC carved out an original, never-heard-before sound. And Queen -- goddamn, man, fucking Queen II will knock your dick in the dirt every time.

There's a great photo in The Dirt of a fat line of coke you formed into the shape of Texas. Did you make any other cool coke designs?

We used to have a dealer who followed us anywhere, with four or five ounces. We'd make these power rails: six feet long and two inches wide. People would be like, "You're out of your fucking mind!" We'd see how much we could do.

Did you keep all your old Crue outfits?

They're in a storage unit. When you open the wardrobe case, that funk will knock you to your knees. What we were sweating out of our system should have deteriorated the clothes. Maybe it preserved them, but that shit has not been washed in twenty years.
