MuDvAyNe at Sunken Gardens* *Photos by Benny Perez  Spag...Matt, of MuDvAyNe Smart guy, cool guy, in a band that scares the shit out of a lot of people. They are loud and obnoxious and Chad's preambles to most songs contain more F-bombs than a group of sailors on shore leave. But when it comes to the business end, Mudvayne take what they do very serious. Matt swears they will not drink prior to their shows so as not to short their fans. Now I've been around these guys prior to 3 concerts where it was an alcohol soaked environment and damned if it isn't true. I've never seen them drink...before a show. After...well, they are a metal band. I have heard stories within the industry about Matt being a real ass-hole on interviews. So my advise to any of my peers snooping this site to rip off ideas (it happens)...PREPARE. This is one guy you can't bullshit your way through the interview. Read the lyrics! It's pretty heady stuff. |
