RANDY BONILLAS' PICKS
Best Hang Outs
- The Mix (2423 N St Mary's)
Where a lot of the people in the music scene hang-out. Pool, good jukebox and live music on most nights.
- Revolution Room (8123 Broadway)
Hot women bartenders and a cool vibe, on busy nights they open up the back "Blue Room".
- Jack Rabbits (5500 Babcock)
Part of a 3-4 megaclub, still a laid back place, the women behind the bar usually are easy on the eyes
- Spanky's (5103 Randolph Blvd)
The place to go...well, if you want to get spanked! Leave your D&G at home , wear chanclas, jeans etc... No really, on the right night, you can get your ass spanked!
Best Live Music Venues
- Sunken Garden Theatre (3875 N St Mary's)
Still THE ultimate live music venue. Rich with history Sunken Garden Theatre holds many memories for a lot of people in SA.
- The Sanctuary (1818 N Main)
You may walk through the dance club portion to get to the stage area, but still a good tight place to catch a show.
- Bonds 007 Rock Bar (450 Soledad)
I don't remember much of this place when I caught a local show there. However, the next day when I was informed of how big of an ASS I made of myself, I realized I must have had a good time.
- Sam's Burger Joint (330 E Grayson)
Very close to downtown, off Broadway.
Grab a burger, a brew, and catch a live show.
- The White Rabbit (2410 N St Mary's)
